David Penton will give an overview of the NoSQL movement and what it *might* mean for traditional database developers. What are folks really looking for with a NoSQL database? Then MongoDB installation, basic usage, and .NET drivers. Examples with NoRM will be used.

Match.com is our sponsor this month and will be GIVING AWAY AN IPAD!

Note that this is the updated meeting invite. As you probably know we had to reschedule the 2/2 meeting due to weather conditions. Please note that the meeting this month is on a Thursday.

Also please note that we had to change our location again. This meeting is at the Harrington library, not at the Parr library or at Intuit. You can get a Google map here or you can check out the library's website.

North Dallas .NET Users Group

The North Dallas .NET User Group is a non-profit association of people who are interested in the .NET platform from Microsoft. We gather at least once a month where we typically have a top notch speaker which may include world renown speakers, INETA speakers, or even local talent, of which there is an incredible amount. We have a chance to socialize over free food and drinks provided by our incredible sponsorship. We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting.
